Ski Vacations New Zealand – Where's the snow skiing in the South Island of New Zealand?

Here is some updated information on major three ski areas of the South Island of New Zealand.
Opening dates 2009 ski season:
– Coronet Peak and The Remarkables will open on Saturday June 6 and Saturday 20 June, respectively
– Mt Hutt is scheduled for Saturday June 13

Located high in the eastern border of the Southern Alps is Mt Hutt Ski Area New Zealand, which receives some of the deepest, lightest, driest powder in the entire region of Australasia. Mt Hutt ski area is just one hours drive from Christchurch and people Mt Hutt – Methven is very close. The recent introduction of radio station can now broadcast live on snow conditions of roads and other important information for all the world heading up the Mt Hutt mountain.In 2008 enjoyed one of their seasons of snow getting bigger and I hope this year will be another excellent season much better prepared.
