The boat that rocked Coral is a British comedy film, released in the UK on April 1, 2009. It was renamed Pirate Radio for release in the United States and Canada on November 13, 2009. Set in 1966, tells a fictional story about a pirate radio station broadcasting a ship to the UK. The film was written and directed by Richard Curtis and made by Working Title Films for Universal Pictures.

Carl (Tom Sturridge) arrives on the pirate ship Radio, Radio Rock, after being sent to stay with the ship's captain, his godfather, Quentin (Bill Nighy), we hope to establish their lives in a different track after being expelled from school.
