PBS Programs or spirit of the Church. What is the difference and which one is best?
Wayne Dyer says that "there is a spiritual solution to each problem "on PBS. Why do people listen to him and not going to listen to your pastor?" I think Wayne gives them things that work, while the pastor is to promises of "things to come." But what do you think?
I think the difference has to do with how a person deals with their spirituality, Some people take a more passive approach and go the traditional route by regular attendance at church and seeking spiritual counseling from his minister, which is limited by the "rules" of that particular denomination. Others take a more active, personal approach that is much less dependent on a narrow interpretation the teachings of Christ. It happens to use the less traditional approach, since it has worked better for me. I have often been criticized for my Christian friends more traditional but, well, have their life and I have mine.
